In addition to the innovative technique NHEMA, for the production of mechanically activated materials, ReActive – Powder Technology uses also standard methodologies grounding on high-energy ball milling (STD).

Despite the standard methods are characterized by lower efficacy with respect to NHEMA, they can still be conveniently used where requested activation energies are limited or when the use of NHEMA is not possible.

These standard techniques are also convenient for small rates of production, such as in the case of laboratory research activities. In this field, the team of ReActive – Powder Technology has a multi-year experience and, in the past, has successfully experimented the production of powders for the performance increment of solid propellants and other energetic materials.
